It was a
rainy day in the month of August, 1997 when every member of the family felt the
coldness of the weather. All members of the family were on the house waiting
for the coming of the rain. In one corner of the house, a certain woman was on
her silent mood with fear on her face. The woman is about to give
birth to her third child. She went inside the room to take a rest,
accompanied by a midwife.
An hour later, the silence was broken and everybody was awakened by a cry of a
new born baby. This situation gave joy to the members of the family. The baby
was registered to a name CHESTER IAN. He is the third son and the youngest child of Mr. Gilberto Pineda and
Mrs. Lita Sotto Pineda. A month
after, Chester was baptized in a catholic church with the said name. Chester his
childhood with the love and close supervision of his parents, his brother Aldin
and sister Sharlene.
Chester started his early education at the age of five
for his pre- school education at Purok Rizal Elementary School where he learned
how to write his name and read the alphabets. He graduated his Kindergarten
with honors.
At the age of 7, he enrolled in Grade 1 at Purok Rizal
Elementary School until grade 6. During his elementary years, he experienced so
many problems because his parents belong to a very poor family. However,
because of his great desire to finish his studies, he strived hard to be
successful. Starting from grade 1 up to grade 6, he was a consistent honor
student.
After 6 years of sacrifices, he decided to enrol his
secondary education at Libertad National High School in the year 2010
eventhough his family is residing in Banga, he preferred to study in Surallah
because he believes that Libertad National High School is a nice school. He is
very thankful that he was qualified to be in a special class.
He enjoyed very much his high school life because he
has so many experiences in this school. Because of his ability, he was able to
go to other places and different schools
and had joined so many competitions and activities.
Now he is enjoying studying and he is already in his
Third Year High School. With God’s mercy and guidance he will be graduating
next year.
Hope that I finish my education and have a career in
the years to come. That is Chester Ian Flying Colors J..
